flats fishin

went to sandy pt with kenny kensie and krystal. there were stripers in shallow water i believe that if i had live bait i would have caught fish. it was a perfect day for throwing flies to these fish. they were so spooky! it was really fun. i could see the fish coming and then i would throw the fly in front of them then they would come up and try to hit the fly. i had about six really good shots at fish but didn't connect with any of them. still the water was so beautiful and i was supremely happy. we also dug clams and had them for an appatiser. really a perfect day.
